Chemo #16: LAST ONE!

I was so busy celebrating my last chemo that I forgot to post a blog entry about it.  Or maybe it was the combination of steroids, Benadryl, Taxol, and pink champagne.

My lovely friends flew to Austin to see me ring the bell.

The nurse made the mistake of offering the confetti bowl to Julia and Claire, who grabbed giant fistfuls with both hands.  I've been finding random confetti all week.

So what do you do when you leave chemo for the last time?  Go get tacos and queso of course!

My high school friends sent beautiful flowers and "F*ck cancer" cupcakes.  Apparently the lady at Sprinkles was uncomfortable with the profanity and wanted to write "Screw cancer" instead, but my friend said, "Hell no."

Pink cocktails all around!
